Beyin Ameliyatlarında İntraoperatif Ultrason Kullanımı

Özet

İntraoperatif ultrason (İOUS), beyin cerrahisinde lezyonların anlık lokalizasyonunu belirlemek ve cerrahi planlamayı optimize etmek amacıyla kullanılan maliyet etkin ve taşınabilir bir görüntüleme teknolojisidirNavigasyon sistemlerinde BOS drenajı sonrası oluşan kaymaları düzeltme ve operasyon sırasında rezidüel tümör dokusunu tespit etme konusunda cerraha kritik avantajlar sağlarGerçek zamanlı görüntü sunma özelliği sayesinde derin yerleşimli tümörlerden vasküler malformasyonlara kadar geniş bir spektrumda güvenli rezeksiyon imkânı tanırken, radyasyon riskini de ortadan kaldırır.

Intraoperative ultrasound (IOUS) is a cost-effective and portable imaging technology used in neurosurgery to provide real-time localization of lesions and optimize surgical planningIt offers critical advantages to surgeons by correcting brain shift in navigation systems following CSF drainage and detecting residual tumor tissue during operationIts ability to provide real-time imaging allows for safe resection across a wide spectrum, from deep-seated tumors to vascular malformations, while eliminating the risk of radiation exposure.
