Özet

Kapsül endoskopi, sindirim sisteminin, özellikle ince bağırsakların noninvazif bir şekilde görüntülenmesini sağlayan, hap boyutundaki kameraların kullanıldığı teknolojik bir tanı yöntemidirBu yöntem başta şüpheli gastrointestinal kanamalar, Crohn hastalığı, ince bağırsak tümörleri ve çölyak hastalığının teşhisi ile takibi amacıyla yaygın olarak kullanılmaktadırİşlem sırasında yutulan kapsül, 8-12 saat boyunca yüksek çözünürlüklü binlerce görüntü iletirken, doku örneği alamaması veya tedavi edici müdahalede bulunamaması temel dezavantajı olarak öne çıkmaktadır.
