This study evaluates the critical roles of chest X-ray and high-resolution computed tomography (HRCT) in the diagnosis and follow-up of COVID-19 pneumonia, emphasizing the importance of multimodality imaging in clinical managementIt details typical radiological findings such as ground-glass opacities, crazy-paving patterns, and consolidations across four temporal stages, from the early phase to recoveryAdditionally, the detection of complications like pulmonary embolism and the differential diagnosis process involving conditions such as bacterial pneumonia and heart failure are presented through a multidisciplinary lens.
