While Digital Subtraction Angiography (DSA) remains the gold standard in cerebrovascular surgery, Indocyanine Green (ICG) videoangiography serves as a valuable alternative by providing real-time visualization of blood flow to ensure aneurysm exclusion and vessel patency. This method offers advantages such as lower costs, rapid intraoperative application, and high spatial resolution, allowing surgeons to perform immediate clip revisions and reduce complication risks. Although it has limitations regarding deep-seated or calcified vessels, the integration of ICG technology into endoscopy and robotic surgery is expected to enhance its future utility in neurovascular procedures.
