Pediatrik Hastalarda Ozaki Prosedürü İle Aort Kapak Tamiri
Özet
Ozaki prosedürü, pediatrik hastalarda aort kapak hastalıklarının tedavisinde otolog perikard kullanılarak gerçekleştirilen ve antikoagülasyon gerektirmeyen yenilikçi bir tamir yöntemidir. Bu teknik, özellikle küçük aort anulusuna sahip çocuklarda Ross ameliyatı ve mekanik kapak replasmanına karşı hemodinamik açıdan başarılı bir alternatif sunmaktadır. Erken dönem sonuçları umut verici olsa da pediatrik popülasyonda kullanılan biyomateryallerin uzun dönem dayanıklılığını ve kapak fonksiyonlarını değerlendirmek için daha fazla takibe ihtiyaç duyulmaktadır.
The Ozaki procedure is an innovative aortic valve repair technique using autologous pericardium in pediatric patients, offering a treatment option that eliminates the need for lifelong anticoagulation. This method serves as a hemodynamically successful alternative to the Ross procedure and mechanical valve replacement, particularly in children with small aortic annuli. While early results are promising, longer follow-up is necessary to evaluate the long-term durability of biomaterials and valve functions in the pediatric population.
