Özet

Cerrahi operasyonlarda yüksek frekanslı elektrik akımının doku kesme ve hemostaz amacıyla kullanımıyla başlayan enerji cihazları, ameliyat sürelerini kısaltarak ve kanama kontrolünü iyileştirerek cerrahide yeni bir dönemi başlatmıştır. Monopolar, bipolar, ultrasonik ve entegre sistemler gibi farklı fiziksel temellere dayanan bu cihazlar, cerrahlara diseksiyon ve mühürleme işlemlerinde büyük kolaylık sağlasa da termal lateral hasar, koter dumanı ve çeşitli elektrik kaçakları gibi komplikasyon risklerini de beraberinde getirmektedir. Teknolojinin ilerlemesiyle vasküler yapıları daha güvenli mühürleyen gelişmiş cihazlar yaygınlaşırken, bu sistemlerin güvenli kullanımı için cerrahlara yönelik FUSE gibi özel eğitim programlarının önemi her geçen gün artmaktadır.

 

Energy devices in surgery, which began with the use of high-frequency electric current for tissue cutting and hemostasis, have initiated a new era by shortening operation times and improving bleeding control. While these devices, based on different physical principles such as monopolar, bipolar, ultrasonic, and integrated systems, provide great convenience to surgeons in dissection and sealing, they also bring risks of complications such as lateral thermal damage, surgical smoke, and various electrical leaks. As technology advances and advanced devices that seal vascular structures more safely become widespread, the importance of specialized training programs like FUSE for surgeons is increasing daily to ensure the safe use of these systems.
