Özet

Telepatoloji, telekomünikasyon araçları vasıtasıyla makroskobik ve mikroskobik görüntülerin uzaktan tanı, konsültasyon ve eğitim amacıyla paylaşılmasını sağlayan bir yöntemdir. Statik, dinamik, robotik, tam slayt görüntüleme ve hibrid yöntemlerini kapsayan bu teknoloji; özellikle COVID-19 pandemisiyle birlikte patologlar arasında daha yaygın bir kullanım alanı bulmuştur. Yöntemler arasında maliyet ve tanı doğruluğu açısından farklar bulunsa da dijitalleşen sistemler, uzman görüşüne erişimi hızlandırarak özellikle periferde çalışan hekimlere önemli avantajlar sunmaktadır.

 

Telepathology is a remote pathology practice that enables the transmission of macroscopic and microscopic images for diagnosis, consultation, and education using telecommunication links. Utilizing various methods such as static, dynamic, robotic, whole slide imaging, and hybrid systems, this technology has gained significant traction, especially following the COVID-19 pandemic. While methods vary in terms of cost and diagnostic accuracy, these digital systems accelerate access to specialist opinions and provide critical support for pathologists working in remote areas.
