Özet

Bağırsak florası, insan vücudundaki hücre sayısından çok daha fazla bakteriyi barındıran, konakçı ile simbiyotik ilişki kurarak bağışıklık sistemini ve besin emilimini destekleyen karmaşık bir ekosistemdir. Bakterilerin "quorum sensing" adı verilen iletişim sistemi, virülans faktörlerini ve toplu davranışlarını yöneterek enfeksiyon süreçlerinde belirleyici bir rol oynar. Modern yaşam tarzı, yanlış beslenme ve ilaç kullanımı gibi çevresel faktörler ise bu dengeli yapıyı bozarak disbiyoza ve çeşitli hastalıkların gelişimine zemin hazırlar.

 

The gut flora functions as a complex ecosystem harboring a vast microbial population that maintains a symbiotic relationship with the host, essential for supporting immune responses and nutrient metabolism. Bacteria utilize a communication mechanism known as "quorum sensing" to regulate colonization and virulence factors, which directly influences the host's health. Environmental factors, including modern diets, medication use, and lifestyle stressors, can disrupt this delicate balance, resulting in dysbiosis and the development of chronic conditions.
