Özet
Pankreasın endokrin hastalıklarını ele alan bu metin, organın Langerhans Adacıkları üzerinden yürüttüğü hormonal fonksiyonları ve bu süreçteki bozuklukları detaylandırmaktadır. Pankreas nöroendokrin neoplazmları (PanNEN) ve Diabetes Mellitus (DM) olmak üzere iki ana kategoriye odaklanan çalışma, özellikle diyabetin küresel ve yerel artışına dikkat çekmektedir. Tip 1 diyabet mutlak insülin eksikliği ile karakterize edilirken, Tip 2 diyabet insülin direnci ve ilerleyici beta hücre kaybı ile tanımlanmaktadır. Metin ayrıca, monogenik defektler (MODY), ekzokrin pankreas hastalıkları (Tip 3c) ve endokrinopatiler gibi spesifik diyabet tiplerine de kapsamlı bir bakış sunmaktadır. Gestasyonel diyabetin maternal ve fetal riskleri vurgulanırken, hastalığın poliüri, polidipsi ve kilo kaybı gibi klasik klinik seyirleri açıklanmıştır.
