Epidemiyolojide Gözlemsel Çalışmalar (Strobe - Uzantı Rehberleri)
Özet
Epidemiyolojide gözlemsel çalışmaların raporlanmasını güçlendirmeyi amaçlayan STROBE Rehberi ve bu rehberin farklı uzmanlık alanlarına göre özelleşmiş yaklaşık 18 farklı uzantısı, bilimsel çalışmaların tam, doğru ve şeffaf bir şekilde sunulmasına yardımcı olmaktadır. Genetikten beslenmeye, veteriner hekimlikten bulaşıcı hastalıklara kadar geniş bir yelpazede sunulan bu kriterler, özellikle yöntem ve bulgular bölümlerindeki raporlama kalitesini artırarak araştırmaların tekrarlanabilirliğini ve güvenilirliğini sağlamayı hedefler. Kongre bildirileri için geliştirilen özel kontrol listesi ise başlık, yöntem ve sonuçlar gibi temel alanlarda asgari standartlar belirleyerek özetlerin yanıltıcı olmasını engellemekte ve bilimsel katkının en iyi şekilde yansıtılmasına aracılık etmektedir.
The STROBE Statement and its approximately 18 specialized extensions for various disciplines aim to enhance the reporting of observational studies in epidemiology by ensuring completeness, accuracy, and transparency. These guidelines, covering fields from genetics and nutrition to veterinary medicine and infectious diseases, target improvements in reporting quality—particularly within methods and results—to foster research replicability and reliability. Additionally, the specific checklist for conference abstracts establishes minimum standards for key sections like titles and methodology, preventing misleading summaries and helping researchers effectively communicate their scientific contributions.
