Özet

Moleküler epidemiyoloji ve katılımcı odaklı örnekleme (RDS) çalışmalarında raporlama kalitesini artırmak amacıyla geliştirilen STROBE-ME ve STROBE-RDS uzantı rehberleri, bilimsel araştırmaların şeffaflığını ve tekrarlanabilirliğini sağlamayı hedefler. STROBE-ME, biyomarkerların seçimi, numune işleme süreçleri ve laboratuvar yöntemlerinin detaylandırılmasına odaklanırken; STROBE-RDS, ulaşılması zor popülasyonlarda kullanılan zincirleme örnekleme yönteminin metodolojik ayrıntılarını ve ağ boyutu analizlerini kapsar. Bu rehberler, karmaşık veri toplama ve analiz süreçlerinin asgari standartlarda raporlanması için araştırmacılara kapsamlı bir yol haritası sunarak bilimsel yayınların güvenilirliğine katkıda bulunur.

 

The STROBE-ME and STROBE-RDS extension guidelines focus on improving the transparency and reproducibility of molecular epidemiology and respondent-driven sampling (RDS) studies by enhancing reporting quality. While STROBE-ME details the selection of biomarkers, sample processing, and laboratory methods, STROBE-RDS covers the methodological specifics and network size analyses of chain-referral sampling used for hard-to-reach populations. These guidelines provide researchers with a comprehensive roadmap for reporting complex data collection and analysis processes at minimum standards, thereby contributing to the reliability of scientific publications.
