The COREQ (Consolidated Criteria for Reporting Qualitative Research) guideline is a 32-item checklist developed to enhance transparency and standardization in qualitative studies within health and social sciences. Focusing on three main domains—research team, study design, and analysis processes—it provides a methodological roadmap specifically for in-depth interviews and focus groups. Utilizing this guide allows researchers to address reflexivity, document data saturation, and improve reporting quality by supporting findings with participant quotations.
