Özet

Vitamin takviyeleri, sporcuların metabolik süreçlerini desteklemek ve yoğun fiziksel aktivite sırasında terleme gibi yollarla kaybedilen mikro besinleri yerine koymak amacıyla yaygın olarak tercih edilmektedirSuda ve yağda eriyen vitaminlerin her birinin karbonhidrat metabolizmasından enerji üretimine ve hücre hasarının önlenmesine kadar kritik rolleri bulunsa da, bu takviyelerin kontrolsüz kullanımı performans artışı sağlamamakta, aksine toksisite riskine ve hücresel adaptasyonun bozulmasına yol açabilmektedirSporcular için en sağlıklı yaklaşım, eksiklik durumunda uzman kontrolünde takviye almak, ancak öncelikli olarak dengeli ve yeterli bir beslenme düzeniyle bu ihtiyaçları doğal gıdalardan karşılamaktır.

 

Vitamin supplements are widely preferred by athletes to support metabolic processes and replace micronutrients lost through sweating during intense physical activityWhile each water-soluble and fat-soluble vitamin plays critical roles ranging from carbohydrate metabolism to preventing cell damage, uncontrolled use of these supplements does not improve performance and may instead lead to toxicity risks and impaired cellular adaptationThe healthiest approach for athletes is to take supplements under expert supervision only in cases of deficiency, while primarily meeting these needs from natural foods through a balanced and adequate diet.
