Sporcularda D Vitamininin Etkileri

Vitamin D plays a critical role in athletes by maintaining bone health, optimizing skeletal muscle functions, and reducing the risk of injuries. Adequate vitamin D levels directly impact performance by increasing muscle strength and endurance, accelerating post-training recovery, and supporting the immune system. Since deficiencies—particularly common in winter months and among indoor athletes—lead to negative outcomes such as muscle atrophy, stress fractures, and decreased aerobic capacity, it is vital for athletes to meet this need through sunlight and nutrition.
