Özet

Mide kanseri, yüksek insidans ve mortalite oranları nedeniyle küresel ölçekte kritik bir sağlık sorunu olmaya devam etmektedir. Hastalığın etiyolojisinde Helikobakter Pilori enfeksiyonu, genetik mutasyonlar ve sağlıksız beslenme alışkanlıkları gibi çevresel faktörler belirleyici rol oynamaktadır. A vitamini ve türevlerinin, antioksidan özellikleri ve hücre proliferasyonunu inhibe etme yetenekleri sayesinde mide kanserine karşı koruyucu bir etki sergilediği ve özellikle Batı toplumlarında risk azaltıcı bir faktör olarak öne çıktığı gözlemlenmektedir.

 

Gastric cancer remains a critical global health issue due to its high incidence and mortality rates. Etiological factors such as Helicobacter Pylori infection, genetic mutations, and environmental factors like poor dietary habits play a decisive role in its development. Vitamin A and its derivatives are observed to exert protective effects against gastric cancer through their antioxidant properties and ability to inhibit cell proliferation, standing out as risk-reducing factors particularly in Western populations.
