Pediatrik Nöroloji Hastalarında Beslenme ve Nutrisyon
Özet
Nörolojik bozukluğu olan çocuklarda beslenme ve yutma sorunları sıklıkla malnütrisyona, büyüme geriliğine ve yaşam kalitesinde düşüşe yol açmaktadır. Bu hastaların multidisipliner bir yaklaşımla değerlendirilmesi, antropometrik ölçümlerin yapılması ve gerektiğinde gastrostomi gibi destekleyici beslenme yöntemlerine başvurulması hayati önem taşımaktadır. Beslenme planlamasında altta yatan nörolojik durumun yanı sıra gastrointestinal faktörler ve mikrobesin ihtiyaçları mutlaka göz önünde bulundurulmalıdır.
Nutritional and swallowing problems in children with neurological disorders frequently lead to malnutrition, growth retardation, and a decline in quality of life. Evaluating these patients with a multidisciplinary approach, performing anthropometric measurements, and resorting to supportive feeding methods such as gastrostomy when necessary is vital. Nutrition planning must consider underlying neurological conditions, gastrointestinal factors, and micronutrient requirements.
