Headaches in the pediatric population are increasingly common and typically follow a benign, self-limiting course. These conditions are broadly classified as primary or secondary based on their etiology, with clinical history and neurological examination serving as the cornerstones of diagnosis. Advanced imaging is generally reserved for cases presenting with "red flag" symptoms that suggest underlying organic pathology. Effective management strategies for primary headaches, such as migraine, rely on a combination of lifestyle modifications and appropriate pharmacological interventions.
