Çocuk İstismarı ve İhmali
Özet
Çocuk istismarı ve ihmali, çocuğun sağlığına ve gelişimine zarar veren, güvene dayalı ilişkilerde gerçekleşen fiziksel, duygusal veya cinsel kötü muamele biçimlerini tanımlar. Özellikle engelli, nörolojik hastalığı olan veya zor mizaçlı çocuklar ile yoksulluk, aile içi şiddet ve sosyal destek eksikliği yaşayan ailelerdeki çocuklar yüksek risk altındadır. Erken tanı, bu çocukların güvenliğini sağlamak ve uzun vadeli fiziksel veya psikolojik hasarları önlemek için hayati önem taşır; bu süreçte hekimler ve uzmanlardan oluşan çok disiplinli bir koruma yaklaşımı gereklidir.
Child abuse and neglect encompass harmful physical, emotional, or sexual behaviors committed by those in positions of trust, causing significant damage to a child's health and development. Children with disabilities, neurological disorders, or behavioral challenges, along with those from environments marked by poverty and domestic violence, face the highest risks. Early identification and a multidisciplinary, expert-led protective approach are essential to ensure child safety and mitigate long-term physical or psychological consequences.
