Epilepsinin Etiyolojisi ve Risk Faktörleri
Özet
Epilepsinin etiyolojisi; yapısal, genetik, enfeksiyöz, metabolik, immün ve bilinmeyen olmak üzere altı ana başlıkta sınıflandırılır ve bu sınıflandırma hastaların tanı, tedavi ve prognoz yönetiminde kritik bir rol oynar. Genetik yatkınlık, kafa travmaları, merkezi sinir sistemi enfeksiyonları ve febril nöbetler gibi faktörler epilepsi gelişimi için önemli risk oluşturmaktadır. Tedavi sürecinde hedefe yönelik yaklaşım ve hassas tıp uygulamaları, etiyolojik nedenlerin doğru belirlenmesiyle mümkün olmaktadır.
Epilepsy etiology is categorized under six main groups—structural, genetic, infectious, metabolic, immune, and unknown—which serve as a critical guide for diagnosis, treatment, and prognosis management. Factors such as genetic predisposition, head trauma, central nervous system infections, and febrile seizures pose significant risks for the development of epilepsy. Targeted treatment approaches and precision medicine applications in the clinical process depend heavily on the accurate identification of these underlying etiological causes.
