Uykuda Elektriksel Status Epileptikus
Özet
Uykuda elektriksel status epileptikus (ESES), çocukluk çağında başlayan, non-REM uykusunda sürekli diken-dalga aktivitesi ve nöropsikolojik gerileme ile karakterize nadir bir epileptik ensefalopatidir. Etiyolojisi beyin anomalileri, genetik yatkınlık ve fonksiyonel ağ bozukluklarını içerir; tanı genellikle uyku EEG'si ile konulur. Tedavide antiepileptik ilaçlar, kortikosteroidler ve dirençli lezyonel vakalarda cerrahi yöntemler tercih edilir. Nöbetler ve EEG bulguları genellikle adölesan dönemde düzelme eğilimindedir, ancak kalıcı bilişsel bozukluklar gelişebilir.
