Refleks Epilepsiler
Özet
Refleks epilepsiler, görsel, işitsel, bilişsel veya termal gibi spesifik duyusal uyaranlarla tetiklenen nöbetlerle karakterize bir epilepsi grubudur. ILAE sınıflamasına göre bu sendromlar, tetikleyici faktöre bağlı olarak fotosensitif, okuma, müzikojenik, yemek ve sıcak su epilepsisi gibi çeşitli alt gruplara ayrılmaktadır. Hastalığın temel tedavi yaklaşımı, nöbetleri başlatan çevresel tetikleyicilerden kaçınmak ve gerekli durumlarda antiepileptik ilaç tedavisine başvurmaktır. Bu epilepsi türündeki patofizyoloji, genetik yatkınlığa bağlı kortikal hipereksitabilite ve ilgili afferent duyusal yolların anormal aktivasyonu ile ilişkilidir.
Reflex epilepsies are characterized by seizures triggered by specific sensory stimuli, such as visual, cognitive, auditory, or thermal factors. According to ILAE classification, these syndromes are categorized into various subgroups based on the trigger, including photosensitive, reading, musicogenic, eating, and hot water epilepsy. The primary treatment approach involves avoiding known environmental triggers and utilizing antiepileptic medication when necessary. The underlying pathophysiology involves cortical hyperexcitability linked to genetic predisposition and the abnormal activation of afferent sensory pathways.
