Özet

Epilepsi cerrahisi öncesi epileptojenik odağın belirlenmesinde yapısal ve fonksiyonel nörogörüntüleme yöntemleri hayati bir rol oynamaktadırBilgisayarlı tomografi ve manyetik rezonans görüntüleme gibi yapısal tekniklerin yanı sıra fMRI, SPECT ve PET gibi fonksiyonel yöntemler, hastaların cerrahi başarısını doğrudan etkileyen lezyonların tespiti için kullanılmaktadırFarklı modalitelerin multimodaliter bir yaklaşımla değerlendirilmesi, özellikle ilaca dirençli fokal epilepsi vakalarında cerrahi başarı şansını anlamlı ölçüde artırmaktadır.

Structural and functional neuroimaging techniques play a vital role in identifying epileptogenic foci for surgical planning in epilepsy patientsCombining structural modalities like CT and MRI with functional methods such as fMRI, SPECT, and PET allows for precise lesion characterization and improved surgical outcomesIntegrating these diverse diagnostic tools through a multimodal approach significantly increases the likelihood of seizure freedom, particularly in cases of drug-resistant focal epilepsy.
