Pediatrik Epilepside Tedavi
Epilepsy is a common chronic neurological condition managed through pharmacological treatment, dietary interventions, neurostimulation, or surgery, depending on seizure type and syndromic classification after an accurate diagnosis. In drug-resistant cases, the diagnosis must first be confirmed, followed by the evaluation of epilepsy surgery, ketogenic diet, or neurostimulation for suitable patients. For children, surgical decisions should be made promptly in specialized multidisciplinary centers, prioritizing cognitive development and quality of life alongside seizure control.
