Zihinsel Yetersizlik
Intellectual disability is a neurodevelopmental disorder originating during the developmental period, characterized by significant deficits in both intellectual and adaptive functioning across conceptual, social, and practical domains. Classified by IQ levels and adaptive capabilities ranging from mild to profound, the condition is influenced by a complex interplay of genetic, environmental, and socioeconomic factors. Diagnosis relies on clinical observation combined with standardized psychometric testing, while treatment primarily focuses on tailored educational support, psychosocial interventions, and targeted management of associated medical or psychiatric comorbidities.
