Özet
Periferik sinir sistemi hastalıkları, merkezi sinir sistemi ile vücudun geri kalanı arasındaki iletişimin motor, duysal veya otonom liflerdeki hasar sonucu bozulmasıyla ortaya çıkar. Hastalıklar, genetik geçişli herediter formlar ve metabolik, inflamatuar veya toksik nedenlere bağlı gelişen edinsel formlar olarak iki temel grupta sınıflandırılır. Tanı sürecinde klinik muayene ve elektronöromiyografi (ENMG) temel belirleyicilerken, tedavi stratejileri altta yatan nedene yönelik etiyolojik yaklaşım ve semptomatik destekleyici bakım üzerine kuruludur.
Peripheral nervous system disorders arise from the disruption of motor, sensory, or autonomic communications between the central nervous system and the rest of the body. These conditions are primarily classified into hereditary forms linked to genetic factors and acquired forms resulting from metabolic, inflammatory, or toxic causes. Diagnostic evaluation relies heavily on clinical assessment and electromyography (EMG), while therapeutic management focuses on addressing the underlying etiology alongside supportive care.
