Özet

İnflamatuar miyopatiler, iskelet kaslarında kronik iltihaplanma ve ilerleyici kas güçsüzlüğü ile seyreden ciddi sistemik hastalıklardır. Çocukluk döneminde en sık juvenil dermatomiyozit şeklinde görülür ve deri bulguları, kas zayıflığı, yorgunluk gibi belirtilerle karakterizedir. Tanı, klinik muayene, kas enzim düzeyleri ve görüntüleme yöntemleriyle konulmakta, tedavi ise kortikosteroidler ve immünsüpresif ilaçlarla yürütülmektedir. Erken teşhis ve uygun tedavi protokolleri, hastalığın neden olduğu komplikasyonların önlenmesinde ve kas fonksiyonlarının korunmasında kritik öneme sahiptir.

 

Inflammatory myopathies are serious systemic conditions characterized by chronic inflammation of skeletal muscles and progressive muscle weakness. Juvenile dermatomyositis is the most common form in children, typically presenting with hallmark skin manifestations, muscle weakness, and fatigue. Diagnosis relies on clinical examination, assessment of muscle enzyme levels, and imaging, while management primarily involves corticosteroids and immunosuppressive therapies. Early diagnosis and appropriate treatment protocols are critical for preventing complications and preserving muscle function.
