Electromyography (EMG) serves as a vital diagnostic tool for assessing neuromuscular disorders in children by analyzing electrical activity in nerves and muscles. It facilitates the identification of peripheral nerve, muscle, and junctional pathologies through nerve conduction studies and needle EMG. Due to developmental differences in children, this procedure requires specific expertise to navigate technical challenges while effectively supporting clinical diagnoses.
