Özet

Kronik güçsüzlük, çocuklarda sekiz haftadan uzun süren kas zayıflığı olarak tanımlanır ve kesin tanı için detaylı bir öykü ile nörolojik muayene şarttırTanısal yaklaşım, güçsüzlüğün anatomik yerleşimini belirleyerek üst veya alt motor nöron kaynaklı olduğunu saptamaya dayanır; bu süreçte görüntüleme, genetik testler ve biyopsi gibi yöntemler kullanılırTedavi planı; serebral palsi, nörodejeneratif bozukluklar veya çeşitli kas hastalıkları gibi altta yatan spesifik nedene yönelik olarak multidisipliner şekilde oluşturulmalıdır.
