Özet
Serebral arteriyopatiler, çocukluk çağı arteriyel iskemik inmelerinin en sık tanımlanan etiyolojisidir ve tekrarlayan inme dahil olmak üzere kötü klinik sonuçlara yol açabilen ciddi bir risk faktörüdür. Genetik, travmatik, enfeksiyöz ve inflamatuar nedenlere bağlı gelişen bu vasküler anormallikler; fokal serebral arteriyopati, Moyamoya hastalığı ve servikosefalik arter diseksiyonu gibi çeşitli alt tiplerle sınıflandırılır. Akut dönemde tanısal zorluklar yaşansa da, görüntüleme yöntemleri ve klinik bulgular etiyolojik ayrımı yapmak ve uygun tedavi stratejilerini belirlemek için kritiktir. Erken teşhis, hasarın sınırlandırılması ve hem akut hem de tekrarlayan inme riskinin azaltılması açısından hayati öneme sahiptir.
Cerebral arteriopathies are the most frequently identified etiology of arterial ischemic stroke in childhood and represent a significant risk factor that can lead to poor clinical outcomes, including recurrent stroke. Arising from genetic, traumatic, infectious, and inflammatory causes, these vascular abnormalities are classified into various subtypes such as focal cerebral arteriopathy, Moyamoya disease, and cervicocephalic artery dissection. Although diagnostic challenges exist in the acute phase, imaging methods and clinical findings are critical for differentiating etiologies and determining appropriate treatment strategies. Early diagnosis is vital for limiting damage and reducing the risk of both acute and recurrent strokes.
