Pediatric stroke is a critical medical emergency that leads to significant mortality and morbidity in children. Unlike in adults, the frequent occurrence of atypical symptoms and stroke mimics poses substantial challenges to rapid diagnosis. Neuroradiological imaging, particularly MRI, serves as the gold standard for distinguishing between ischemic and hemorrhagic events and identifying the underlying etiology. Accurate and early diagnostic imaging is essential to minimize long-term neurological damage and optimize patient prognosis.
