Özet

Çocuklarda dil ve konuşma bozuklukları; zeka, sosyal çevre ve eğitimle doğrudan ilişkili karmaşık gelişimsel süreçlerdir. Tanı süreci, kapsamlı bir öykü ve fiziksel muayene eşliğinde dil bozuklukları, akıcılık sorunları, motor konuşma bozuklukları ve afazi gibi kategorilerin ayırıcı tanısını gerektirir. Tedavi yaklaşımları, altta yatan nedene göre şekillenen konuşma terapisi, ev yönetimi ve destekleyici müdahaleleri kapsayan multidisipliner bir yapıdadır. Erken teşhis ve profesyonel müdahale, çocuğun akademik başarısı ve sosyal yetkinliğinin korunmasında en belirleyici unsurdur.

 

Language and speech disorders in children are complex processes inherently linked to cognitive development, social environment, and education. Diagnosis involves detailed clinical history and physical examination, necessitating the differentiation between language impairments, fluency disorders, motor speech issues, and aphasia. Treatment strategies require a multidisciplinary approach that integrates professional speech therapy, home-based management, and pharmacological support tailored to the specific diagnosis. Early detection and intervention remain critical factors in preserving the child's academic performance and long-term social well-being.
