Çocuklarda Dil ve Konuşma Bozuklukları - Psikiyatrik Yaklaşım

Özet

Çocukluk çağında gelişen dil ve konuşma bozuklukları, bireyin günlük yaşam kalitesini düşürerek sosyal, akademik ve psikiyatrik sorunlara zemin hazırlayan nörogelişimsel durumlardır. DSM-5 sınıflandırmasına göre bu bozukluklar; dil bozukluğu, konuşma sesi bozukluğu, çocuklukta başlayan konuşma akıcılığı bozukluğu (kekemelik), toplumsal iletişim bozukluğu ve tanımlanmamış iletişim bozukluğu olmak üzere beş ana kategoride ele alınmaktadır. Erken dönemde fark edilen belirtiler ve doğru ayırıcı tanı yöntemleriyle uygulanan dil-konuşma terapileri ile ebeveyn odaklı müdahaleler, çocukların gelişimsel süreçte akranlarını yakalamasında ve kalıcı hasarların önlenmesinde kritik bir rol oynamaktadır.

 

Language and speech disorders developing during childhood are neurodevelopmental conditions that diminish an individual's quality of daily life and pave the way for social, academic, and psychiatric difficulties. According to the DSM-5 classification, these disorders are examined under five main categories: language disorder, speech sound disorder, childhood-onset fluency disorder (stuttering), social (pragmatic) communication disorder, and unspecified communication disorder. Early detection, accurate differential diagnosis, and the implementation of speech-language therapies alongside parent-mediated interventions play a critical role in helping children catch up with their peers and preventing long-term impairment.
