Özet

Çocuklarda antiepileptik ilaç kullanımı, tanı ve yönetimi zor olan çeşitli kütanöz aşırı duyarlılık reaksiyonlarına neden olabilmektedir. Morbiliform döküntüler, ürtiker, akut jeneralize ekzantematöz püstüloz (AGEP), Stevens-Johnson sendromu ve DRESS sendromu gibi klinik prezentasyonlar, farklı risk profilleri ve tedavi yaklaşımları gerektirir. Tedavideki temel hedef, nedensel ilacın doğru tanımlanarak kesilmesi ve hastanın güvenli bir alternatif tedaviye yönlendirilmesidir.

 

Antiepileptic drug use in children can lead to various cutaneous hypersensitivity reactions that are often challenging to diagnose and manage. Clinical presentations such as morbilliform rashes, urticaria, acute generalized exanthematous pustulosis (AGEP), Stevens-Johnson syndrome, and DRESS syndrome require different risk assessments and treatment approaches. The primary goal in management is to accurately identify and discontinue the causative drug while transitioning the patient to a safe alternative treatment.
