Özet
Gastrointestinal hastalıklar; çölyak, inflamatuvar bağırsak hastalığı, Wilson hastalığı ve karaciğer yetmezliği gibi sistemik durumlar üzerinden çeşitli nörolojik komplikasyonlara yol açabilmektedir. Bu nörolojik bulgular, vitamin emilim bozuklukları, immünolojik yanıtlar ve toksik metabolitlerin etkisiyle gelişerek epilepsi, ataksi, polinöropati veya ensefalopati gibi tablolarla kendini gösterebilir. Erken tanı ve glutensiz diyet veya spesifik medikal tedaviler, nörolojik hasarların yönetilmesinde ve prognozun iyileştirilmesinde kritik öneme sahiptir.
