Pediatrik Nöroloji Hastalarında Fiziksel Tıp ve Rehabilitasyon Uygulamaları
Özet
Pediatrik nörolojik hastalıklarda rehabilitasyon, çocukların motor, duyusal ve fonksiyonel gelişimini desteklemek için aile katılımını içeren multidisipliner bir yaklaşım gerektirir; bu süreçte egzersiz tedavisi, pozisyonlama, ortez kullanımı ve cerrahi destek gibi yöntemler temel teşkil eder. SMA, musküler distrofiler, brakial pleksus yaralanmaları ve spinal kord hastalıkları gibi spesifik durumlarda erken tanı ve hastanın ambulasyon düzeyine uygun kişiselleştirilmiş tedavi programları, yaşam kalitesini artırmak için kritiktir. Ayrıca solunum komplikasyonlarının önlenmesi, yutma ve beslenme yönetimi, postür takibi ve gelişebilecek ortopedik sorunlara erken müdahale, uzun vadeli bakım stratejilerinin vazgeçilmez unsurlarıdır.
Rehabilitation in pediatric neurological conditions requires a multidisciplinary approach involving family participation to support children's motor, sensory, and functional development, where exercise therapy, positioning, orthotics, and surgical support play fundamental roles. Early diagnosis and personalized treatment plans, tailored to the patient's ambulation level, are critical for improving the quality of life in conditions such as SMA, muscular dystrophies, brachial plexus injuries, and spinal cord disorders. Additionally, preventing respiratory complications, managing swallowing and nutrition, monitoring posture, and early intervention for potential orthopedic issues remain indispensable components of long-term care strategies.
