Pediatrik Nöroloji Hastalarında Ameliyathane Dışı Anestezi Uygulamaları
Özet
Pediatrik nöroloji hastalarında ameliyathane dışı anestezi uygulamaları, tanı ve tedavi amaçlı girişimsel işlemler ile görüntüleme yöntemlerinde hasta uyumunu ve hareketsizliğini sağlamak adına sıklıkla sedasyon ve analjezi yöntemiyle gerçekleştirilir. Bu süreçte hasta güvenliğinin en üst düzeyde tutulması için ASA standartlarına uygun donanım, deneyimli personel, açlık sürelerine uyum ve kapnografi gibi gelişmiş monitörizasyon yöntemlerinin sağlanması zorunludur. İşlemin niteliğine ve hastanın fiziksel durumuna göre seçilen propofol, midazolam, ketamin ve deksmedetomidin gibi anestezik ajanların doz titrasyonu, solunum depresyonu riskini azaltmak ve nörolojik değerlendirmeyi (EEG dalgalarını) olumsuz etkilememek açısından kritik önem taşır.
Non-operating room anesthesia in pediatric neurology patients is frequently performed using sedation and analgesia to ensure patient immobility and cooperation during diagnostic or therapeutic interventions and imaging modalities. To maintain the highest level of patient safety, it is mandatory to provide appropriate equipment compliant with ASA standards, experienced personnel, adherence to fasting guidelines, and advanced monitoring techniques such as capnography. The precise dose titration of anesthetic agents like propofol, midazolam, ketamin, and dexmedetomidine, selected based on the procedure type and patient's physical status, is critical to minimize the risk of respiratory depression and avoid distorting neurological assessments (EEG waves).
