Headaches are highly prevalent during childhood and adolescence, significantly impacting not only physical health but also academic performance and social relationships. This section examines the diagnostic criteria, pathophysiology, and associated neuropsychiatric comorbidities of migraine and tension-type headaches based on current data. Furthermore, it provides a comprehensive guide to the primary care management of pediatric headaches, including differential diagnosis and modern treatment strategies.
