Baş dönmesinin periferik, santral, psikiyatrik veya kardiyovasküler nedenlerden kaynaklanabileceği belirtilerek; tanı aşamasında ayrıntılı anamnez, fizik muayene ve spesifik testlerin önemi vurgulanmaktadır. Ayrıca, Benign Paroksismal Pozisyonel Vertigo (BPPV) ve Meniere gibi sık görülen hastalıkların klinik özellikleri ile birinci basamak sağlık hizmetlerinde uygulanabilecek Epley manevrası gibi tedavi yöntemleri detaylandırılmaktadır.
