Özet
Karın ağrısı, mekanik ve kimyasal uyarılara bağlı olarak gelişen ve acil servis başvurularında sık karşılaşılan, basit nedenlerden yaşamı tehdit eden durumlara kadar geniş bir yelpazeye yayılan klinik bir şikayettir. Tanı sürecinde ağrının yeri, süresi, oluş mekanizması ve eşlik eden semptomlar titizlikle değerlendirilerek fizik muayene ve laboratuvar tetkikleriyle desteklenmelidir. Özellikle yaşlılar, bağışıklığı baskılanmış bireyler ve kadınlar gibi özel gruplarda atipik belirtiler görülebileceğinden, bu popülasyonlarda radyolojik görüntüleme yöntemlerinden de faydalanılarak multidisipliner bir yaklaşım sergilenmesi kritiktir.
Abdominal pain is a frequent clinical complaint caused by mechanical and chemical stimuli, ranging from simple causes to life-threatening conditions, and is a leading reason for emergency department visits. The diagnostic process requires a thorough evaluation of the pain's location, duration, and mechanism, alongside physical examination and laboratory tests. A multidisciplinary approach is critical, especially in special populations such as the elderly, immunocompromised, and women, where atypical symptoms may necessitate the use of radiological imaging.
