Özet

Saç dökülmesi, bireylerin yaşam kalitesini ve duygusal iyilik halini olumsuz etkileyen, evrimsel süreçte sağlık ve doğurganlık göstergesi olarak kabul edilen fizyolojik bir durumdur. Saçın büyüme döngüsü anagen, katagen, telogen ve ekzojen fazlarından oluşmakta; genetik faktörler, hormonal değişimler, stres ve çeşitli sistemik hastalıklar bu döngüyü bozarak dökülmeye yol açmaktadır. Tanı aşamasında klinik öykü ve fizik muayenenin yanı sıra saç çekme testi ve trikoskopi gibi yöntemler kullanılırken, tedavide minoksidil ve finasterid gibi FDA onaylı ilaçların yanı sıra saç transplantasyonu ve PRP gibi modern cerrahi yaklaşımlar tercih edilmektedir.

 

Hair loss is a physiological condition that negatively impacts quality of life and emotional well-being, historically perceived as an indicator of health and fertility. The hair growth cycle consists of anagen, catagen, telogen, and exogen phases, which can be disrupted by genetic factors, hormonal shifts, stress, and systemic diseases, leading to various types of alopecia. Diagnosis relies on clinical history, physical examination, and techniques like the pull test or trichoscopy, while treatment options include FDA-approved medications such as minoxidil and finasteride, alongside modern surgical approaches like hair transplantation and PRP.
