Meme Kitleleri ve Diğer Meme Hastalıkları
Özet
Aile hekimliği pratiğinde sıkça karşılaşılan meme semptomları arasında en yaygın şikayetler meme ağrısı ve kitlesidir; bu durumların değerlendirilmesinde hastanın yaşı, öyküsü ve fizik muayene bulguları kritik rol oynar. Meme kitlelerinin büyük çoğunluğu fibroadenom ve fibrokistik değişiklikler gibi iyi huylu lezyonlardan oluşsa da, özellikle ileri yaş gruplarında kötü huylu neoplazm olasılığı her zaman göz önünde bulundurulmalıdır. Tanı ve tarama süreçlerinde mamografi ve ultrasonografi temel görüntüleme yöntemleri olarak kullanılırken, şüpheli durumlarda biyopsi ile kesin tanıya gidilmesi ve hastanın biyopsikososyal bir bütünlük içinde değerlendirilmesi esastır.
Breast pain and masses are the most common symptoms encountered in primary care, requiring a thorough evaluation of the patient's age, medical history, and physical examination findings. While most breast masses are benign, such as fibroadenomas and fibrocystic changes, the possibility of malignant neoplasms must always be considered, especially in older patients. Mammography and ultrasonography are the primary imaging methods used for diagnosis and screening, while definitive diagnosis through biopsy and a holistic biopsychosocial approach are essential for effective management.
