This text provides a comprehensive overview of common bacterial skin infections, such as cellulitis, erysipelas, skin abscesses, folliculitis, and impetigo, covering their epidemiology, etiology, clinical manifestations, diagnosis, and treatment. It details the risk factors and pathogenic microorganisms involved in these infections while presenting clinical findings and laboratory tests essential for differential diagnosis. The treatment section emphasizes topical, oral, or parenteral antibiotic options and surgical drainage methods, which vary depending on the type and severity of the infection.
