Joint pain is one of the most common complaints in primary care, originating from intra-articular or periarticular tissues. The diagnostic process involves identifying whether the pain is articular, periarticular, or referred through detailed history and physical examination, supported by laboratory and imaging methods. Management requires a multidisciplinary treatment algorithm, incorporating non-pharmacological approaches like patient education and rehabilitation alongside appropriate pharmacological therapies.
