This text deeply examines the critical effects of rapidly increasing internet and technology use on the sleep health of children and adolescents. With technology becoming an inseparable part of daily life, education, and social relationships, it is emphasized that uncontrolled use, especially in the evening hours, decreases sleep quality, shortens sleep duration, and suppresses melatonin secretion. In light of academic data, it is stated that problematic internet use is directly related to mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, and low self-esteem. Experts advocate that the evaluation of technology addiction should be a routine part of assessing young people presenting with sleep disorders. In the treatment approach, psycho-educational and behavioral interventions such as sleep hygiene, parental supervision, and limiting screen time are primarily recommended. Particularly, clearing the bedroom of technological devices and improving pre-sleep routines are of vital importance for a healthy developmental process. Pharmacological treatment, on the other hand, should only be considered under expert supervision in cases with severe loss of functionality and where other methods have proven insufficient.
