Üst Servikal Menengioma

Ense ağrısı ve şişlik şikayetiyle başvuran 55 yaşındaki kadın hastada, C1-C2 seviyesinde spinal korda bası yapan ve vertebral arteri iten nadir bir ekstradural kitle tespit edilmiştir. Cerrahi müdahale ile tümör, vertebral arter korunarak ve spinal instabiliteye yol açmayacak şekilde C1 sol arkusu üzerinden total olarak çıkarılmıştır. Patolojik inceleme sonucu "Evre 1 Menengioma" olarak raporlanan hastanın bir yıllık takibinde herhangi bir nükse veya nörolojik defisite rastlanmamıştır. Bu vaka, ekstradural kitlelerin ayırıcı tanısında menengiomaların da mutlaka değerlendirilmesi gerektiğini ve tam rezeksiyonun iyi prognoz sağladığını göstermektedir.

A rare extradural mass at the C1-C2 level, compressing the spinal cord and displacing the vertebral artery, was identified in a 55-year-old female patient presenting with neck pain and swelling. The tumor was totally resected through the left arch of C1 while preserving the vertebral artery and ensuring spinal stability without the need for posterior stabilization. Pathological analysis confirmed a "Grade 1 Meningioma," and follow-ups over one year showed no recurrence or neurological deficits. This case emphasizes that meningiomas should be considered in the differential diagnosis of extradural masses and that total resection leads to a favorable prognosis.
