Spinal Kist Hidatik
A 52-year-old female patient presented with progressive limb weakness and urinary dysfunction caused by an extensive spinal epidural hydatid cyst spanning from C3 to L2. Through a limited T7 laminectomy and catheter-based irrigation of the epidural space, the multi-loculated cysts were aspirated, successfully relieving the spinal cord compression. Although rare and highly recurrent, this invasive condition is managed using a combination of surgical decompression and anthelmintic medication to reduce associated morbidity.
