Lomber Vertebra Enfeksiyonu
Özet
70 yaşındaki erkek hasta, bir yıldır devam eden şiddetli bel ve bacak ağrısı, güç kaybı, kontrolsüz kilo kaybı ve son dönemde gelişen inkontinans şikayetleriyle başvurmuştur. Yapılan tetkiklerde L2-L5 vertebra gövdelerinde enfeksiyon ve spinal kanalı daraltan epidural abse tespit edilmiştir. Cerrahi müdahale ile abse boşaltılmış, stabilizasyon ve füzyon ameliyatı uygulanmış; sekiz haftalık antibiyotik tedavisi sonrası hastanın nörolojik bulguları düzelerek tam mobilizasyon sağlanmıştır.
A 70-year-old male patient presented with severe back and leg pain, weakness, significant weight loss, and recent onset of incontinence persisting for one year. Examinations revealed infections in the L2-L5 vertebral bodies and an epidural abscess severely constricting the spinal canal. Following surgical decompression, stabilization, and fusion surgery combined with an eight-week antibiotic regimen, the patient's neurological deficits resolved, and he achieved full independent mobilization.
