Afet ve Acil Durumlarda Riskli Grupların Beslenmesi
Özet
Afet ve acil durumlar, özellikle çocuklar, gebe ve emziren kadınlar, yaşlılar, engelliler ve kronik hastalığı olan bireyler gibi savunmasız gruplar için ciddi beslenme riskleri oluşturmaktadır. Bu süreçlerde malnütrisyonun önlenmesi ve bağışıklığın desteklenmesi amacıyla emzirmenin sürdürülmesi, mikro besin takviyelerinin sağlanması ve bireylerin özel fizyolojik ihtiyaçlarına uygun, enerji yoğunluğu yüksek gıdaların tedarik edilmesi kritik önem taşımaktadır. Etkin bir destek için afet sonrası hızlı bir değerlendirme yapılarak izleme sistemlerinin kurulması ve bu riskli gruplara yönelik kapsamlı beslenme politikalarının geliştirilmesi gerekmektedir.
Disasters and emergencies pose significant nutritional risks for vulnerable groups, particularly children, pregnant and lactating women, the elderly, individuals with disabilities, and those with chronic diseases. To prevent malnutrition and support immunity during these periods, it is critical to maintain breastfeeding, provide micronutrient supplements, and supply energy-dense foods tailored to individuals' specific physiological needs. For effective support, rapid post-disaster assessments must be conducted, monitoring systems established, and comprehensive nutritional policies developed for these high-risk groups.
