Özet

Afet ve acil durumlarda kötüleşen yaşam koşulları, özellikle bebekler, hamileler ve yaşlılar gibi hassas gruplarda ciddi protein-enerji malnütrisyonu ve mikro besin eksikliklerine yol açmaktadırUzun raf ömürlü ve karbonhidrat ağırlıklı gıdalara bağımlılık; demir, A vitamini, C vitamini (iskorbüt) ve niasin (pellagra) gibi temel öğelerin yetersizliğine neden olarak çocuklarda büyüme geriliği ve artan ölüm riskini beraberinde getirmektedirBu süreçte beslenme durumunun sürekli izlenmesi, gıdaların mikro besinlerle güçlendirilmesi ve Afet Yardım Ekipleri aracılığıyla profesyonel diyetisyen desteğinin sağlanması hayati önem taşımaktadır.

 

In disaster and emergency situations, deteriorating living conditions lead to serious protein-energy malnutrition and micronutrient deficiencies, especially among vulnerable groups such as infants, pregnant women, and the elderlyDependency on long-shelf-life, carbohydrate-heavy foods results in deficiencies of essential elements like iron, vitamin A, vitamin C (scurvy), and niacin (pellagra), leading to growth retardation and increased mortality risk in childrenContinuous monitoring of nutritional status, fortification of foods with micronutrients, and providing professional dietitian support through Disaster Relief Teams are critically important during this process.
